New York III by xa-xa-xa New York III by xa-xa-xa
Photography for the first time ^^

I'm not a photographer , but i wanted to share 3 pictures of New York City.
I went there in september (first time in USA) and i felt in love with this town, the amazing architecture, the sweetness of some districts and the kindness of people.

The City is Awesome I make it my business to go there at least twice a week if i get the chance. Next time you should try to go to the MOMA-Museum of Modern Art, you will really enjoy it there....if you come back to the states to visit, just hit me up, i could be a tour guide.

Hahaha, if you met any "kind" people in NYC, they're visitors, not true New Yorkers!

It's a very nice shot it shows a very realistic depiction of NewYork and the busy life that we commuters often face I also like the fact that this was in the rain instead of on a sunny day. lol I just wish I thought NewYorkers were nice too.

This is like a movie!
The building, the heavy trafic and a woman calling a cab.
It's a "cliché" of New York, but it's Beautiful.

That's near Canal Street. Very nice pics.

I was born and raised there but haven't lived there in 8 years. I miss it, but not the cost of living.

As for mean vs. kind New Yorkers, you'll find a variety as you will everywhere on this planet. There is an impersonalness and bluntness due to the need to move with speed and population density that can be interpreted as rudeness.

You made me miss NYC. Good job. :)

My boyfriend is from NY, he hasn't been there for eight years. I tried to block the title and ask him where that is and he told me "It's obvious, New York." I've never been, but I am planning on going, I've never seen snow, and you're pic makes me want to go like tomorrow:). It's beautiful

My family's all from New York. It's a strange sort of city, and despite how often you see it in media, there's really nothing quite like being there. I'm glad you had a good visit!

(If you didn't see any shows on Broadway, you need to come back and do that. You haven't had the full NYC experience unless you did. :) )

lot of french people don't like some aspect of the USA (junk food , military and financial domination , patriotism etc..) but there have a real fascination for american culture , or nature . I think that's "hate and love" relation between France and USA ..maybe like an old couple...

Sorry to come in late to the conversation, but I wanted to put in my thoughts here.

There is good and bad in every country. Yes, there are some aspects of the USA that may not be grand, and there are some places in the US where the people make Iops look like rocket engineers, but there are some aspects that make it good as well.

Same things could be said about people in France I would assume.

As for the "old couple" description, that is very accurate. I live in Iowa, and if you Google up "Iowa state flag", you'll see something familiar. Had Napoleon not been needing to raise quick cash, I might have been living in French territory right now. :)
